The last days of the VW Kombi as we know them are coming to and end. Production line in Mexico the home of the Kombi and VW Bug since they stop making them in Germany is closing . The can't design it to take ABS or airbags so it's run has come to an end . Sad Day

I purchased one of these but have yet to install it. Looks like a power point (American 2 flat pin). You open it with a small key screwdriver supplied, the faceplate drops down and you have a good size box to place money or valuables.

I know this not an on the road question but i,ve hit a wall With son-in-law working a 10wk job in Sydney i was going to stay in the apartment he ,my daughter and grandkids are at but no space----tried EVERY hotel booking site & every apartment booking site and [a] they want sqillions plus min 5 nights-...

We are full time on the road so xmas happens for us where ever we are, we dont go home to family, they got a visit earlier when air fares were cheap. we have decided to stay at Mansfield for the xmas and new year period Before making our way across Vic to SA. What does every body else do?

The awning flap seam running the length of the barrel has started to tear at each end. I try to reduce the constant flapping with restraints however it is slowly deteriorating. Can anyone advise if there is a special repair tape I can apply or some other form of repair?
