if using gas on a free camp site

we have never free camped but am thinking of having a go we will have to turn our fridge to gas for an over night stay but my concern is how long will it last and how will we now if we have run out gas as we could lose all in the fridge we have 2 9kg bottles and of course they would be on all night sorry if it sounds...

A good place to view platypus and turtles on rocks in s/e Qld

At Sharp park is a great spot south of Canungra app5 kms, there is agreat bush camping, flush toilets but no showers. Pic below shows where I have seen the platypus and turtles on rocks,but you got to be soquite as if tey hear you or see you they go back into the water.
