Hi, We are planning to travel across the top end from Cairns to Darwin next April after the wet with our 23ft caravan and Ford Ranger. I'm sure this information is available somewhere, but we just can't find it - what is the Northern most route we can take on sealed roads. We don't want to go off-road, bu...

Had a phillips head screwdriver slip today, and it went right through a finger. Have got plenty of scars on hands due to a life of doing stuff, but I can tell you this hurt more for a little while, than most anything else. I don't recommend it. Does feel somewhat better now though after a few hours. Cheers,...

I received my renewal for van insurance today and was gobsmacked at the extra $305 price increase on last year's premium. The van is insured for 51k and I'm now paying $1324. After phoning them to complain they did reduce the price a little. Yes, I know you only get what you pay for etc but I don't know h...

My friend has just come back from a trip through the South of NSW, VIctoria and SA. He was told in Adelaide by a man he met at the van park that Police are booking people who do not lock their coupling lever in the closed position. By locking, he meant that the coupling must have a pin in it to prevent the latch...

Will your brake controller work with advanced safety aids?

Gday... My only comment is to read past the first half of the article that is probably telling many on this forum 'how to suck eggs'. The latter part of the article is very enlightening ... particularly if one owns a modern, 'electronic' vehicle. Despite those comments, as always, the whole article is...
