I monitor fuel usage out of interest, and to indicate when maintenance may be required. This trip my best result was 22.9 l...

Cost of Power in Caravan Parks
(Preview)
Do parks charge separately for power on powered sites or is it included in the fee? If separate how is it metered and can you view it? Also, what are the tariffs? Just wondering how much it would cost if it's a stinking hot day or night and you want to run the van's A/C.

Freezing pipes
(Preview)
Hi, I am about to enter Alice Springs, and its currently below freezing at night. I was wondering if sub zero temperatures have caused any issues with Motorhomes or Caravans, particularly when the water connected up directly to it. Looking forward to any comments from any of the Grey Nomads ... -- Edi...

Powrtouch Caravan Mover

I have a single axle Windsor Genesis and was thinking of having a Powrtouch Caravan Mover installed. Most of my travels are done solo and it will (hopefully) remove the need to reverse a few metres and then get out to see how it is all going. Has anyone purchased one of these units and if so, what is the opin...

Solar output Query
(Preview)
Hi all, I have installed a 200 WT panel. I run 2 130 amp AGM batteries. Batteries are used for very little as I am at home. My issue is after being in sun for 3 days the 240 volt charger goes to Boost when turned back on. Should the panel do the job or will the charger always cut in. Thanks for any info. Bill
