There seems to be so many people that I've met on the way that are heading up there for 3-6 months...

Well I'm all packed. 100 litres of cheap fuel. Heaps and heaps of good food. When I'm camping I like to be a bit of a p1ss pot so I've got plenty of wine and grog. 100 kilos of good red gum fire wood to keep warm. Leaving at 5am. Lake eyre here I come.
