Hi there, Neil here. I have been a member for several years but lately Ive been MIA. Following some medical issues I have been laid low. I suffered a TIA (mini stroke) in 2023 which resulted in needing my Carotid Artery in my neck to be split, cleaned of plaque then re-inserted. Later that year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and so I had a radical robotic prostectamy. Subsequently psa tests showed that some cancer cells had escaped prior to removal so in December 2024 I underwent 33 bouts of radiation which, touch wood after 3 more psa tests have shown cancer is Undetectable. Happy days. In mid 2025 we ordered a new Silverline for December delivery and sold the 2016 Silverline Hopefully I can become more active here again Kind regards from Pinjarra WA

Hi Neil
Welcome back. I was diagnosed with bowel and lung cancer, two different types back in 2023.
Had 30 sessions of combined chemo and radiation then they cracked open my ribs on my back and cut out the lung growth.
I had 3rd degree burns on my bum crack, not pleasant.
Had three monthly follow up scans, then six monthly and from this month, annual scans.
So far so good.
Then my wife developed endometrial cancer, had a radical hysterectomy then 3 weekly chemo then daily radiation for six weeks.
Follow up scans showed a 3mm lump in her lung. In 3 months that grew to 6mm.
Geez.
Shes been on hormone therapy for 3 months, next scan also this month.
Cancer is a dreadful thing.
Its like a black cloud hanging over your head.
Plan? Make the most of every day.
Seems thats your plan.
O ya
