21 years to late for my older brother Alex. Dead from melanoma 51 and one month years old.
Over his later life he had numerous lumps, bumps and suspect spots removed/treated. Though never scanned. Which would have picked it up EARLIER!

To be fair, as kids he would be on the beach on his towel while the rest of us were swimming, surfing, snorkling and diving. Later in life, in the RAAF (Radar Technician Ground) he was posted to Townsville for a number of years and thought nothing of working in the garden of his married quarter in shorts and safety boots. When he was finally scanned in 2005, his primary was 63cm long and extended from his left breast, over his shoulder under his shoulder blade and almost reaching his spine. Too late by then! In his lungs, right knee, left hip, left kidney and right ankle. Treatment kept him going from Easter 2005 to 15 Jul 05, but really it was pointless.

DO NOT PUT IT OFF!, GET TESTED ASAP IF IN ANY SORT OF DOUBT - DO IT
