My name is Dave, and Im new here. Also new to nomadic life, although grey only really applies to my beard. Good enough I hope!
i write with a serious issue I need to solve, but intend to get more than that from this community, and hopefully give back. i always intended to retire to at least a semi-nomadic life, but a stage 4 cancer diagnosis a couple of years ago has hastened the process. Quit my job, cashed out my super, and bought a caravan.
Thats part of the problem I now have - I think the man who sold me the caravan spotted me as a motivated buyer and ripped me off pretty badly. Buyer beware, I know, but I was fresh out of hospital and trusted him. More fool me.
The caravan is a Geist, and it turns out there is axle damage from impact with a kerb/pothole, so one wheel is out of alignment badly enough to regularly shred tyres.
I dont quite know how this site works yet - I assume I should make a separate post for help with the axle, and consider this my introduction? Any help appreciate.
