Is it time we banned guns full stop? No more recreational hunting. Or at least, ban semi automatic guns...single round only and only kept at a gun club under lock and key.

Semiautomatic has been banned for many years, keep up. The long arms were bolt action, takes a lot off practice to operate them the way they were, keep up. The shot guns had illegally modified magazines, keep up. Get your facts together before you spout off.

A kneejerk reaction without thinking through the consequences of our already too restrictive gun laws. Criminals and terrorists don't abide by gun laws. They will always have guns regardless of any laws. Everyday law abiding citizens won't have them.
Imagine how differently things could have turned out if some of the crowd had guns instead of cameras and phones to point at the terrorists. Or someone in one of the units overlooking the scene had a decent rifle.
