He disappeared around 2019 here, at the same time as the Caravanners Forum, I hope he didn't surcum to covid, but he was a prolific poster on Caravanners forum, and he was getting ready to go on the road fulltime, so maybe that could have been why he stopped posting.

Just went for a look of other members not seen for a while, a lot have disappeared, I know some got booted, and some left, but a lot just disappeared, and I enjoyed the posts and "company" of most them.
Well I suppose some people "age" out, if you know what I mean, but I miss a lot of the 'old" GN members that are not here anymore.

Me too Ric. I recall my "altercations" with the Phantom that got a bit testy at times but I would still buy him a beer if we had met. The admins changes to the rules have, unfortunately, made the forum a lot different to what it was. However, that is their prerogative. It used to have a edge to it and, now and again, someone would step over the line which made for lively discussion at times. They would be given a gentle tap on the wrist by admin. The forum today is sadly a bland imitation of those times.

Your right Magnarc we are not getting many popcorn threads these days. I used to be entertained for a considerable time reading the various discussions and opinions each night, but now I have normally moved on again in a few minutes.
