The New Game/

I have just traversed the Melba Hwy from Yea to Yarra Glen.I played the new game of count the potholes. I counted 17 with four of them on the apex of corners. After consulting the rules of the game I found that, if I could miss all seventeen, that entitled me to throw darts at a picture of our Premier.

Even though I had my darts already to go, sadly I failed only missing four. Then I thought what the hell and threw the bloody darts anyway. Didn't help the highway, but I felt so much satisfaction that I kept on throwing till my arm ached.

One day there will be a multiple pile-up on that road and some poor bugger will get killed.

You want to travel up the Calder highway from Bendigo to Mildura. Some of the road is so bad it would shack your fillings loose !!

G'day Phil,

Not only there but as well even. The Olympic Highway about 15mins north of down town Wagga Wagga north bound there is a Biggy right on the left tyer track that has been there for a 2 weeks and there is going to be a head on for sure but no 'desk pen pusher' seems to care, The roads are a disgrace in NSW as well.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there (avoid pot holes)

Good to see that you are still on the right side of the grass Doug.

If the dough that they get from rego was put back into the roads, we would have half decent ones but no, it's ploughed into other areas to prop up the losses they have incurred through bad management elsewhere.

Cars today have have many devices in them to help keep us all safe. Surely it is not too much to expect those responsible for our roads, to do the same?

PS. Have our members noticed that if you try to dodge a pothole on a corner, there is always a B double or something similar, coming the other way??? Murphy's Law comes to mind.
