Alas, the time has come.

This year has ended the time of our caravanning life after many years. It was abig wrench to see our little 12foot 6inch van leave our loving hands. After many years of travelling

throughout this fabulous country,Covid and a continuos bout of cancer with Chemo and radiation. Now in remission, but we are told that Lymphoma cannot be cured, but we will die with it

but not from it. Having seen many posts from Dougwe and others we are saddened to leave but we will still be cruising along the road and stopping at hotels, motels and cabins. Having

driven right around this beautiful country in our 1910 Great Wall x240 with very few problems for just over 15 years, it  was difficult to relinquish it for a new car. So We will be checking

in regularly to see how you all are doing.

Happens to us all eventually, but I like your attitude to get the best out of a rotten deal, your plan is a great one, go for it & happy travels, John.

Thanks Joda. Just waiting for the less inclement weather to arrive. We are planning to head to Tassie for a visit, then later on maybe to visit family in Rockhampton. A lot depends on how

much freetime the oncology people give us.
