got one of these from my daughter for Christmas,  absolutely brilliant. 

2min 30 to do a ham cheese toastie with a 1000w oven.

They're $15 from Kmart. Best part is the time taken  to cook, no long load on the inverter.

When I don't have the use of my microwave. Try cooking in a frypan. Makes delicious cheese toasted sandwiches.
