I had several running on a Commodore computer using tape cassette memory to load the games. You needed a lot of patience to wait for the games to load.
A good friend made a fair bit of money by placing the games tables in corner shops cafes and laundromats around the place. You could play all of the favorites on the coffee table sized machines.
He soon found out that operating the laundromats was an even better proposition. Good cash flow too.
He lived on the upmarket Sovereign Island the last time I heard from him.
I too had an old Commodore 64.
It had the cassette drive that sometimes played up.
Also the game modules, some of the games were a bit before their time.
I thought it was the bees knees at the time.
From memory it had 64K of RAM !!!!!
