The lies about blood pressure - and the danger of BP medications.

Although hesitant to extend this article to others since some make a sport of opposing everything,

here goes anyway - some will find it interesting. Doesn't apply to me because I'm not grey - I'm SILVER!!

But driving can be a danger - and other info here will be of interest to most Greys.

Downloading and opening a zip folder from an unknown source is probably not the smartest thing, I'll pass.

The bloody thing only downloads the heading. I'm not too smart at this sort of stuff.

When I find how to i'l do the whole thing. It's quite amazing how Big Pharm manages

medicines and Doctors etc to their advantage financially. The article has all the references etc and basically

dispells a lot of the myths about blood pressure. It's important because 7 tons of tug and house

trundling down the highway and "things start to happen" - you need to know why.

I take a blood pressure pill for one thing only PTSD the drug is known as Mini Press, and it stops nightmares, and it does this well, but I can only take it when my blood pressure is above 110, and as I normally have low pressure, I can take it 1-2 times a week. It is recommended for veterans with nightmares. So I am sure there would be no side effects for taking it rarely.

Brodie, Mercola is a paper that is put out by a natural medicine person selling supplements. This is the problem we have with information on the web. It may, or may not be true. He quotes famous people and does not mention particular situations. Its better to go back even further to the source, i.e. the institution that did the research and then determine (or try to) where their funding came from and if it was valid research.

Follow the money is a very good mantra.

Thank you Guru I agree with the need to verify claims made. The same can be said of anything we have been told throughout life and in most cases we have blindly believed it without question.

Ironically it is the very internet that has made it possible for us to be exposed to other views and further opportunities to do our due diligence.
