I am new on this page and was wanting some comments. I am in the process of buying a van and want to be sure I choose wisely. I am wanting to buy a Jayco silverline and had heard some comments that they can leak. I have had a Newage for 12 years and never been happier, but want to choose the Silverline now. I just need assurance that it is a reliable van and that I would get another 12 years with the new van.
If you own a Silverline 21.6 3 can you let me know your views on your van. I know Jayco have a good reputation for service and warranty but thought I would ask owners. I dont have facebook to go on the owners forum For Jayco Silverline.
Welcome to the Forum Rob.
Silverline slide outs can be problematical, water ingress in any caravan can be disastrous.
Jayco tend to honour warranties but there sometimes can be problems with dealers correcting faults (they claim insufficient funds from the Manufacturer, not covering the cost of repairs).
Ensure you have any new caravan inspected by a professional prior to taking delivery - make that a condition written into sales contract. That's about the best you can do.

Thank you. I have asked for them to inspect many different areas and to ensure all seals pipes etc are in excellent condition and they wrote it in the contract.
