Well, we've finally managed to tee up a trip we've been hoping to do for ages. We're heading off sometime in May. Across the middle from Carnarvon, dropping in to say hello to a few station mates on the way to Alice. Just our old camper trailer and the 4wd. Nothing fancy. Got a couple of folks to look after the plantation while we're gone. Only going for a couple of months ... maybe 3 at the most. No hurry. Not sure which way after Alice, but probably up to NT north then back through the Kimberly. We'll save SA for another trip. Went across to Tassie with the camper some years ago, but we usually go to pretty remote station country in WA for our trips. We're retired now (or we would be, if we didn't have a farm), so aren't locked into school holidays which will be a dream.
Welcome to the Forum Chinnerys. The 4WD might come in handy around the Alice at the moment, the Todd is in full flood - take care and have some fun in the mud.
