2024 Season ( Almost on us )

Well! What can I say?

OK then, In NRL land Melbourne Storm had a nice win keeping them sitting on top, just.

As for over in AFL land, what a pathetic round. Not one winner for the few regulars here in GN land that contribute here. Not one.

Meanwhile over in the USofA and MLB, my Atlanta Braves have forgot how to win a game of Baseball sadly. They are actually playing as I write this at 8.30am our time and were 7 to 2 but now in the top of the 9th innings (usually 9 innings games) and out of left field Colorado are 9 to 8 and more than will win and take the series 3-0. I have already voiced my opinion over there.

Hi all, Catters are still in the race (just). Not going to be easy against Port. If we fall over I will be shouting for the Doggies.

Howdy all, I haven't been in here for a couple of weeks but thought I might give my view on things if anyone is interested, if not, well, sorry.

In NRL land, Storm is looking good and finished minor premiers up on top of the ladder. Now to take the trophy home in a few weeks.

In AFL land, My Bombers bombed out this year so have to work on their game for next season. If they only listened to me each week they would be in the 8 now.

Meanwhile, over in the USofA my Atlanta Braves have been winning a few games here and there but losing more really BUT somehow are still sitting second in their division but only just. You could say, they are hanging on by a very thin thread. It's not looking great but a very, very small chance to be there in the playoffs at least, come October. Like with the Bombers, if they only listened to me.

Keep Safe on the roads and out there, all.

It was with some trepidation that I sat down with a large G&T last night to watch the Cats against Port but my fears were unfounded! They demolished them. One of my highlights was to see the scarf waving, anthem singing, booing supporters reduced to silence. Pure joy! I won't get carried away though, finals are always a totally different ball game, but it was a very good start.

I will be barracking for the Doggies tonight. No self respecting Cats supporter could ever support Hawthorn.

PS. I think that SWMBO has hidden the Gin bottle.

Commiserations Graham, the blue baggers put up a bit of a fight when they finally got going. Imho it will take a good team to beat the Hawks this year.

Yeah I hope it's the Hawkies now and not the Swannies.
But good to see the women Bluebaggers still going
