Rookies from Spain 🇪🇸

Hi there!! After I introduced myself in the correct section, I'm opening this post to ask an infinity of doubs Currently, I'm fully living in Nz with my wife in a 6 metres motorhome. However, we've got the opportunity to move to Australia one or two years . And of course we look forward to taking the same lifestyle. We would like to know how easy could be: - Sleep almost every night in freecamping areas or independent camping( into the bush, beach or similar) - Facilities related to dump and fresh water. - Which part of Australia is more convenient to buy a motorhome or caravan. - Orientation about prices of maintenance, insurance, equipment.... Our experience in Nz is great. Almost 98% is on road Every 50/60 km there are free dump stations with fresh water and other facilities. Almost all the country is habited , it means it's difficult to get alone in the middle of nowhere if you break down. With this situation we are living without problems in our motorhome with 95 litres of waters. Unfortunately, we know that in Australia the situation will be totally different. - Huge distances - Off road - Uninhabited areas over hundreds of kilometers. - Etc We would like to know your experiences and which could be the best way for us in Australia. We are open to : - Motorhome. - Big van. - 4x4 + all terrain caravan. Thanks in advance guys!!

I would suggest you purchase a Camps 12 book link www.tentworld.com.au/buy-sale/camps-12-australia-wide-a4-spiral-book%20-%20Bing&utm_term=4587506111490632&utm_content=All%20products
This will answer most of your questions plus providing quality maps for your adventure.

Do you own the motorhome?  If so, you could bring it to Australia.

Buy your motorhome in South Australia or one of the other states where there are no annual inspections and you can pay the registrations on-line.
Importing a vehicle into Australia is possible but difficult. It will be a lot easier to buy here.

G'Day Didac93 you really can't go wrong with WikiCamps app a one off payment of $8 and kept up to date by users online with new camps and reviews/photos.
The Camps books are good for maps if you don't like online maps, Camps books are outdated at printing a bit expensive a akin to yellow pages phone book ay Possum!
