If you want a decent comb. Your options are Chinese sh_t vs Hong Kong quality. I don't get it why the Chinese are simply only capable to reduce things to the lowest common denominator. A skill which evades me on every level.
Wifey has been through a dozen Chinese brushes (landfill) which disintegrate. I suppose they are making money from seventh rate skills etc. The Chinese did design toilet paper & explosives from number ones & numbers twos, but that is a far as the Chinese got.
But a quality anti static comb still works many decades later. I do look for a new comb, for decades, but basic design has long since evaporated.
A metal comb is very closely integrating itself into sub letter binding (inheritance advise) statement.
Good for controlling beard these days. At the UV upper end of things a hat (Australian made) is the best tool!

That has the look of a good saw cut comb. I learnt years ago to avoid molded combs. Where the 2 halves of the comb mold meet, they leave a razor like edge at 90 degrees to the direction of travel through your hair when they are separated in production. Bit like dragging razor blades through your hair. Better department stores sell saw cut combs but they are not cheap. Quality never is. I did find a shop in the Atherton Tablelands years ago that sold hand made ones cut from Sheep bone.

Wifey's experience is the reason. Very smart business sense to make cheap rubbish that disintegrates so you have to buy more ..... 12 in this case.
It piqued my interest so I looked on Etsy. The $70 polished stainless one should last a lifetime and make a statement (if anyone cares). A gift for a man who has everything already.
I also looked on Amazon. Not really comparable but perhaps a comb pedant could answer why there are single short tines on three of the combs in this set.
