Cost of living rebate

Wizard of Oz, Yobarr, Are We Lost, Vince56 etc. Spot on.

The world doesn't seem to have twigged (a pun there, Twiggy married a local girl and is putting in significant renewables nearby) that we have steadily become over-populated.
In many cases, the wrong clowns being born and the good people who could not afford too many kids due in some instances to bludgers getting funded for a lifetime by our Federal Governments to breed absolute idiots. There is clear proof in my rural region of this over a few generations. Too few good kids have been bred, but a govt funded army of car thieves and home invaders now rule the streets.
I am not against renewables (in the local area), and if it can be done better, do so.
We DO need to look after our earth and environment, but SENSIBLY.
Not this gung ho Leftie Nimbin Greenie style of demands.
I have attended some local presentations by (overseas ownership) solar and wind mobs. There have been some terrible scraps in those meetings.
At one meeting we thought one of our mates off the land was going to take the lying little weasel b*llsh*tting at one meeting out the back of the Civic Centre and punch his lights out.
A big quiet, decent and well respected ex rugby front rower starting to get is bristles up at the (as proven later) awful misrepresentations given.
Some two years later I spoke to one of his neighbours who had their lives and farm property ruined.
The solar idiots and their so called engineers altered the water courses for a large solar farm next door and now when it rains their shearing shed, sheds, house and prime paddocks are flooded with water.
Numerous court cases have been held and no doubt will continue for years at great cost.
But of course the overseas company that built the monstrosity have since scarpered back home with a fat wallet and are virtually untouchable legally so it appears.
So in conclusion, I support renewables, but they should be restricted to crappy ground and subject to more government regulation rather than ruin our soft loam prime farmland.
At the end of the day all of this is reflected in our respective electricity bill increases.

I wish all these city-centric, latte swilling mob would get their facts right for a change instead of shooting off at the mouth with inaccurate speculation based on emotions, not facts.

All of these climate change summits need to concentrate on the true cause of any issues they perceive, largely being over population and continual industrial growth?

Another thing that gets me?

We often get bombarded on TV with these billionaire types and their hobby rockets and high fare intergalactic tourist flights.
How much environmental damage does one rocket do burning all that rocket fuel on launch?
How much damage is done to the stratosphere when the thing shoots off through it into space?
Why are these tax dodging super wealthy clowns considered heroes for such actions?
One of these clowns owns his own island in the Caribbean, bought this island and established it as a zero % tax haven.
Same bloke rips a fortune out of Australia annually.
Yet one never hears a whimper from the climate change fraternity on the issue.
I assume these same tax dodging big noters are big cash donors to the "movement"?

Here's some more confusing questions/facts. The price of two of the critical components in EV car manufacturing, Lithium and Cobalt, have crashed, and the reason? lack of demand. So much for the media hype about soaring EV sales.

The recent cold weather in the US and Europe have burnt EV owners because....NO POWER to recharge their EV's on top of many brand new EV bus fleets sitting idle, for the same reason, no power, or maintenance issues such as...the bus fleet EV manufacturer has since gone bust once the gummint subsidies ran out and can no longer supply parts for said busses, there goes another few hundred million taxpayer bucks.

I think EV vehicles are the way to go in CITIES, but the push for them via legislation on vehicle manufacturers etc is far too soon. A conservative estimate is that you would need to DOUBLE both the generation AND capacity for grid transmission, before you even think about mandating EV use. This opinion is clearly stated by proper propeller heads who know their stuff, not pollies pandering to niche parts of the electorate.

With Lithium and Cobalt crashing only those with deep pockets (globalists) wouldn't care. All the genuine investors will sell their shares (at a loss) and the deep pockets will pick them up for a song, bide their time, and cash out in the end and eliminate all those (the competition) who are not part of the club.

Not having a go at you Ron, but would you consider a few more (get it) paragraph spaces please. It makes your posts a bit hard to read, thanks I hope, Craig
