Tank Water pump

I havent used the van for over 12 months and just checking that everything works before our next trip and found the water pump isnt working. Ive checked the water level and is good. Tried opening the front tap on the A frame to activate it but to no avail. Any suggestions please assist Thanks and regards Ronzo

Check to see if 12 volt power is on and the pump switch is on.

Have a look for a blown fuse.

If the pump is getting power but not moving then turning it on and open a tap and give the pump a couple of light raps with a hammer might unfreeze it.

What about the other taps? Why mention just that one?

If the steps outline previously don't work the pressure sensor may be stuck and just need a gentle jiggle. Most pumps use the same pressure sensor. If so, it is held on with 2 screws, so very easy to remove and work the sensor with your fingers.

I just filled both my tanks to the top and then turned the water pump switch on and then
turned on the various taps on and off and voila the pump started
I think adding the water may have pushed the water into the pump do to speak ( like priming it ) and it worked
