If the Ukraine-Russia wasnt enough, now the Hamas-Israel situation is a major concern, unrest in the Balkans is growing and even growing number of African nations with internal conflict re a worry.

Here in Australia we have enough conflict over the voice and now we have Australians publically celebrating the murder of young people at a music festival and the kidnapping and murder of non combatants in a terrorist attack, what are these people doing.

Is this a pelude to perhaps China thinking that it can start a war with Taiwan or maybe WW3

I wouldn't call those "human beings" celebrating a targeted massacre on civilians Australians. Send them home.

You cannot send someone home if he is born in Australia, as is the sheik was making those terrible remarks.

Whilst I agree that any killings are abhorrent, it is fair to say that the most of the reporting has fallen very much on the side of Israel who are far from an innocent community of victims in all of this.

Ma-bee if we arrested a few we could swap them for some of the innocent hostages.

It's hard to image why Israelis didn't see this coming. Their constant encroachment into Palestinian territory with new settlements must surely have provoked these attacks. Even some of their own politicians admit to this. The risk now is that this conflagration won't be confined to the Middle East.

A bit more than their provocative 'settlement' programs (ongoing theft in the view of many).  There is huge amount of long term abuse of rights on a daily basis.Worse than south Aftrica's apartheid was.

To state my position, I cannot tolerate anti-semitism any more than racism, and I also cannot tolerate Israel's Zionist racism against the Palestinian people.

For those interested this recent summary of what has gone before may be of interest   https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/10/9/whats-the-israel-palestine-conflict-about-a-simple-guide
