When you say the inverter keeps turning on, are you determining this from the remote display unit or from the main inverter itself?
As I read the manual the remote control unit can give you a display without the inverter actually operating, which suggests to me that the inverter has been wired in in 'Standby mode'. Perhaps this is it's default installation. If that is the case & you don't want it in standby mode all the time you may have to have a switch installed into it's power supply line from the battery.
However I also wonder whether, if you just switch off the remote display unit, whether this switches off the inverter.
The most likely possibility, is that the inverter is on & in standby mode whenever you switch it on by it's main switch. ;) If the main switch is inaccessible with the inverter installed & you don't want it using power in standby mode you will need to have a switch in the power supply line, & leave the 'inverter main switch' switched on all the time.
