Solar Regulator

Hey all. We have a LiFePO4 120ah battery managed by projecta system. We also have 170w solar panel on the roof of our van. I would like to use our 150w portable panel to supplement the roof one during those times we are in shade or in Winter when sun is not at its strongest. I'm looking for a suitable, simple, reliable, lithium friendly solar regulator. Budget?? Something I don't need to take out a bank loan to purchase. Cheers.

Renogy, I have had great success with them, they are only online, but also you can go into to a Jaycar physical store as well if you wish to buy as well as on line reasonable quality

You have a solar system in place it seems. Just connect the portable in parallel to the Projecta solar controller through an Anderson plug.

just get a kings solar panel  extension lead with anderson plugs and regulator and run direct to your battery terminals just have a fuse from positive terminal to regulator

make sure fuse is same as regulator

i do this works a treat when parked in shade

Thanks all. I have already got grey anderson connected directly to the battery. The regulator has 2 grey Anderson's on it. One is to plug into the anderson at the battery the other the portable panel will plug into. The regulator is no more than 50cm away from the battery. Opted for a Epever 5206BP 20a Tracer regulator.
