Trail-a-Mate losing lifting travel

My 3 year old Trail-a-mate is losing how much travel it has when trying to lift caravan off the car. Tow ball weight is approx 300 kg. There is no evidence of oil leaking and I have tried the prescribed method to bleed air from the reservoir but no improvement. Any suggestions to remedy.

They are notorious for needing services as they wear, if you don't service them yourself they get quite expensive. Maybe time to move on with a Bos 370 or the electric Black Jack.

I'm with Kebbin totally on that one. Never had an issue since changing over to the Bos.
