Sounds good to me. Never liked her but her husband not a bad bloke.
Got to ask the question though, what drives them to do those things. Is it
their own initiative or are they 'forced' by management.

I'd say both.  Unfortunately these days we seem to have a media that goes out of its way to creates and drives the agenda of this country rather than just simply report on it.

When you have a media that publishes rubbish like this? How trivial and stupid. and people actually get paid to publish it. Wish I had become a journalist back in the day. Money for jam.

I don't know why she was ever given a Logie, a heavy fine would have been more appropriate, in my opinion.

There has to be a criminal offence she should be charged with and then sent to jail.

I assume from the reference to a Logie that she is a Tv personality?  Who is accusing her of what crime? Not all of us watch enough Tv to be familiar with the names of those on it. Is the 'crime' a proven fact or a 'beat up' from the Murdoch media against someone they consider to be on the other side of the fence. ie. Is this about a real crime or just another political thread?

Rather than make this thread dead, I will refraim from putting Cindy in a difficult position and repeat any actually broadcast details, sufficed to say this is not a beat up from the Murdoch media, but arises from released information about the background of a channel 10 project story, which channel 7 aquired the back story and played portions of that information on one of their programs a couple of sundays ago.

The reason you are not hearing much about this on ABC and Nine's TV and Newspapers are avoiding the whole story where possible for obovious reason which are political dynamite.

And by forum rules Politics is off the table.

PS I make no suggestion that the person in question has actually broken the law, but I hope she can called to account.

Yep, definitely an a$$hole deverall.  And well done using that term. Fits perfectly into today's terminology given that we can longer use terms such as C%$t or P%^&k for fear of offending the "alphabet mob". So a$$hole is perfect because it is "gender neutral"    biggrin

Why?  Winning Gold Logie just means that you've got the best publicity machine in TV land that year.  Got absolutely nothing to do with that person being the best in TV or even the best at what they do.

I think they should be investigated by a disciplinary tribunal consisting of Senator Van, Andrew Laming and Stuart Robert. They will get to the bottom of things.

The fact is Van's actions have been refered for investigation, along he has been removed liberal partyroom, and will sit on the cross bench, also he has been told to resign from the senate.

Laming was cleared of the accusations, and had confidential settlement and apology as a result, Robert I dont know anything about him.

Be careful in pointing the bone, no one was held accountable for the 55 labor staffers complaints, double standards apply.
