Taking Foxtel Box on the Road

Can you take your Foxtel IQ box with you on the road but to only watch any material that you have recorded - not connect it to a network?

To be honest I haven't tried that, but I think you need satellite hooked up,
or the box will just say no signal and not respond!
You could try at home disconnecting your box from the satellite, by
removing your 2 incoming cables!

We have been doing this for years and currently take the IQ3 hooked up to sat dish as well as a VAST box for FTA channels.
A good sat meter is a marriage saver and Satplus Qld have some excellent ones.

Yes you can watch recorded programs BUT you have to have a successful link up with the satellite.
