Yes you are correct, it's called mitigating the risk. Avoid adding fuel to the fire.

The few and far between times I have called them, it was met with disappointment and a very

underwhelming experience. Guess I should thank somebody that I didn't come out worse.

Fancy tasering a 95 yo woman. She is critical in hospital with a cracked skull. What two healthy

young man/woman were unable to overpower this poor frail 95 yo. Bet she regrets having Plod

being called.

Barney, could I humbly request that you don't spoil a good story? Seems this "lady" was a bit of a handful, and no matter how PC dealt with that situation, always there would have been some do-gooder criticising their actions.

My previous point exactly, take them away from issuing traffic infringement and they just about kill a 95yo woman.

We got here because I brought up the fact that Mr Plod seldomly issues infringement to towers who

don have proper mirrors, overweight and every other broken rules regarding that subject.

It then seems that Possum3 took as an attack on his Plod mates.

@deverall - You obviously know from your vast experience in Policing - Have you ever been confronted with; bladed weapons, handgun or shotgun - I have, (been shot -stabbed - beaten kicked whilst down on the ground, hospitalized).

95 year old or iced up youth - the aim is to protect public - particularly in this case where the Police were called because the Nurses were threatened. The incident was captured on two body cams - Which has been analyzed by Senior Police.

You go back to your riding your Pee Wee 50 with your Biker mates, where you may just know what you are talking about.

Shot, stabbed, kicked etc... sounds like you're a sucker for punishment.
My biker mates and our Pee Wee are safe.

I have been threatened at gunpoint by one of your mates because I was riding a motorcycle without

a helmet. Promptly instructed him to put shove his toy where the sun don't shine. He obliged but

issued me with a fine for not wearing a helmet which was cancelled after I got a helmet exemption

from a mate quack the next day. Easy. Must be a request when one joins the plod force to have an IQ less the 10 or

have they changed that now in order to get more recruits.
BTW there has been a number of time when I was chased by your plod mates when I was either on the
bike that is my avatar or others with similar capabilities. Guess what, they're still looking for me.
Guess you can reminisce about the good old days when we were getting shot, stabbed and kicked
whilst I sit back, crack another beer and laugh at their incompetence in trying to catch me.
