RE: 2023 Season About to Start

Great start to the weekend Storm stich up the ladder leader, now all we need is another percentage building win for the Dee's over the Hawks.

A great start from Dees, then a sleepy 3rd quarter, but finish well. Charlie Spargo back from concussion and play well.

Blue Baggers, what goes on ?

Ah well, go to Adelaide wearing a poxy light blue jumper, rain and only play ofr 1 quarter. Loose by 4 points. Well done to Port Adelaide.

The " new coach " curse strikes again in N R L, St George Illawara come from behind to record a win after sacking their coach.

Just hanging in there SC, I thought they were getting desperate when they offered to renew my membership for a $1.00 for the rest of the year.

It would be good if they could play 4 quarters once in a while.

Cheers Bob

You guys must be talking about me biggrin

First up, to sort of keep on topic because as you all know, I don't go 'off topic'. The Bombers are performing pretty good and slowly but surely moving up on the ladder, so happy there.

Now, for the serious stuff and seeing you guys raised the topic, My Atlanta Baraves over in the US of A are having a mixed bag lately, Win 1 lose 1 win 2 lose 1 and so on. They just won 2 out of a 4 game series so at least they got half way to a series win. They come into a 3 game series over the next 3 days and starting in a couple of hours time. On paper the stats they should win the 3 games easy but I have said that a few times this season. These players get paid so much but at times don't earn it.

I might just have to make a quick dash over there and have a big talk to them. I'm telling them what to do on the telavish but they don't listen to me.

That all said, they are still sitting on top of their division and a few games ahead.

Well at least I did alright tonight.
Can't get the Blues or the Raiders over the line very often.
Got the old Maroons over tonight so I'm happy for a while

Demons $1.37 to Blues $3.02.

Craig, loser buys a counter lunch, at the bottom pub in Mt Barker or the top pub in Albury, if we ever cross paths.

Cheers Bob

Your mob aren't travelling too well to only beat us by 17 points. We gave your backmen plenty of marking practice by kicking it straight to them.

Spargo really has web feet eh? umps look after him, no wonder O'Meara dump tackled him.

See you at the Northside...smile

Why not Bob, no anvil or vice to bear here.

What about the "roundball grandfinal " 6 Mariners -1 to Melbourne. The mob who protested about the final being in Sydney for the next few years. Good job most of them wernt there to see it. The whole stadium would have been burnt down.

And what about Eric Bana doing the Big Freeze on Monday as well. He might get one of his lady co stars to come next year.

Didn't know that, but heard that his fingernails had lost some of their pink polish? Cheers
