Sorry all, I just couldn't help myself.

Thanks Doug. It would be a pleasure to do that although there's not a lot of AFL followers around here. Most of them follow that other game, think it's called NRL.

That's it Graham. REAL football plated by REAL MEN. Cheers

Carlton are appealing to AFL Tribuneral. They want a rematch of Thursday Night game. BUT to be played at Mt Barker oval at 6am on Sunday morning. That way they will have one man and his dog for support.

Adelaide tooo big, tooo fast, even got handballs away whilst sitting on the ground.

PS, Caarlto want Tex rubbed out as well, to even the game a bit.

Thanks Alan. That explains it. Perhaps these people are waiting for the marbles to re-appear so that the tournament can be held on another date? Cheers

Dees bombed out big time, failed to fire a shot, would have lost by more if the Bombers kicked straight.......still have a GF hangover.

Blues were beaten up by Crows and 4 umps, no Gov and Pintto gone early, can't give a side 8 goal start.

Nice sledge Demon Craig, but be careful not to crow tooooo early, off to hell for you.

Blue baggers...Bob and Eddie

Edit: Storm went down the drain too.

Good place for them too, but at least they play real football, albeit while constantly bending the rules, and the spirit of a REAL game, to extremes. Cheers

Unfortunately be it NRL, AFL, Soccer or even swimming and other sports, now days a small percentage are drug takers, drink drivers, sexual harrassment, domestic violence and a few other things that I can't be bothered to list are giving a lot of sports around the globe a bad name. I personally have dropped off the past 6 or 7 years of even following teams because of all the stuff going on. I'll stick with the Supercars and all other types of car racing till they clean up their acts somewhat. Nearly daily you hear of some clown doing something they shouldn't

Sorry Craig

My quick trip over and motivational talk to the Bombers worked.

Edit...Oooops, forgot to mention my Atlanta Braves have started the season pretty good with more wins than losses and sit snugly on top of their division.

Its funny how Victorian support their footy, NRL total crowd attendnces ove the ANZAC round was 157,000, 63,000 attended the 2 ANZAC day games. The AFL smashed the for crowds 95,000 Anzac day and 83,000 ANZAC eve.

I must say the the two Melbourne teams showed how honor the ANZAC's with their pre game memorials.

Melbourne's ANZAC jumper paid homage to one of it own, Bluey Truscott a two time premirship player, He joined RAAF and became a fighter pilot, Fluing Spitefires he won a DFC and Bar, he died on the 28th of April in a training flight where plane crashed into the Exmouth Gulf he was 26.

The front of the jumper features a fighter plane, inspired by the Spitfire in which he scored his first victory.

26 stars cover the guernsey, with a five-point star representing his Melbourne playing number, and two eight-point stars representing his two Melbourne premierships.

The back of the jumper reads the names of all 30 Melbourne players who died in service during the two World Wars, alongside the RAAF Latin motto per ardua ad astra, which translates to through adversity to the stars.

A great Saturday evening for a couple of us on here.

Dees by a lazy 90, should have been the 108 same as Carlton, but had a last minute power nap.

Winners and losers coming up this arvo, got the Whip out Chief?

Good win by Charlie and Co, Bombers couldn't handle Tomahawk, bloody Crows couldn't kick straight, Dees look scary.

Lions will be big game next Friday.

Yes mate, I did have the whip out, but it must have been blunt me thinks. I might have to make a dash down to Bomber land and give them another talking to.

As for my Atlanta Braves over in the U S of A, they have had some good wins with a couple of losses over the last month but going OK really. They are still on top of their division. Sadly, the 2 games over the weekend were postponed due to rain.

Edit...Ooops, typo.

Hi guys, Note that the catters have awoken from their slumber in the first three games, and are now handing it out to their opponents. Can't wait until we meet the Maggies again, we owe them big time.

PS. I like watching the Storm too.

Yep, somehow we hung in there.

Struth, Carlton met their match in the third quarter. No run, no chase, no man up at all.
