G'day I'm new to grey nomading. My wife and I bought a fifth wheeler in Tassie and have now driven it back to Perth after touring for a fortnight in Tassie them loaded it onto the ferry to Melbourne and travelled across Australia.

I am new too :)  I am planning to get on the road and wondering if you could share what you know about travelling in Tassie with a caravan?  Roads, caravan parks, heard there is lots of free camping in Tassie and wondering if that is right?  What advice would you give to a newbie?  Thanks lots!

G'day Annie, Welcome to the Forum - Tasmania not my usual stomping ground but have done a few trips around the apple isle. Very pretty place with an abundance of seafood eateries (cafe, restaurant, pub-lunch).

The west coast and through the middle is pretty speccy.
