5. When you sneeze, all bodily functions stop, even your heart!
Nonsense.
"Electrical signals that control your heart rate arent affected by the physiological changes that happen when you sneeze. But the heart may get delayed for a second or two before resuming its regular rhythm."
20. Michael Jackson owned the rights to the South Carolina State Anthem.
Jackson owned the rights to Apple Records songs, one of which would have been "Carolina In My Mind" by James Taylor. However, this is not the same as "South Carolina On My Mind", which is one of two South Carolina state songs.
24. Most hospitals make money by selling the umbilical cords cut from women who give birth. They are used in vein transplant surgery.
I only found one study that attempted to perform such transplants. I didn't find any reference which stated that this was a current practice.
In fact umbilical cord blood contains stem cells, and these are used in transplants to treat "leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, aplastic anemia, sickle cell and other diseases".
"The bristle toothbrush, similar to the type used today, was not invented until 1498 in China. The bristles were actually the stiff, coarse hairs taken from the back of a hogs neck and attached to handles made of bone or bamboo."

I knew I could rely on you Dorian, sorry to waste your time but you only found 8 wrong or partially wrong, so Alfred didn't have a belly button after all that.
Hope you don't dream about spiders tonight...........

I checked that out, too. It's probably bogus, so I'm not worried. One web site suggested that, if you're sleeping with your mouth open, you're probably snoring, and this would scare any spiders away. In fact, if I was worried, I would block up all my orifices.
BTW, I did check out the coat hangers. I figured that the only way such a claim could stand is if there was a standard governing their dimensions. There isn't, but the closest I could find was this compilation by Carol:
A couple of years ago I had a Huntsman living between the wall and basin in my bathroom. We reached an understanding that he (she?) could remain provided that he kept the c0ckroaches away. This arrangement worked well until one day I found him on the wall in my bedroom. Then I had no choice but to escort him outside.
