Lawnton Showgrounds (Most of year when show isn't on). Close to train station & plenty of shopping,

There are plenty of 'decent' CPs in & around Brisbane.

Could you be a bit more specific in what you want.

Tourist Parks - eg.  One with all the bells & whistles ...  Like Brisbane Holiday Village at Eight Mile Plains  3341 6133.  4 or 5 star I suppose or the Nearby Gateway Village at Rochedale 341 6333, probably 4 star I think   These are both on the Southside close to freeway & busways into the CBD.  Lots of local shops & facilities.  Aspley Gardens / Northside Caravan Village on the northside have good reputations.

Low Cost (good luck with that)  but there are several with the usual compliment of semi permanents.

Location - North side , South Side, By the bay, within say 30km of CBD.  Several in Redcliffe Some near Beenleigh  Cabolture Redland Bay also.  Even a showgrounds or two.

Convenient to ?  (eg CBD or perhaps bayside)

I will have a look a those suggestion
Personally all I am looking for is a responsibly clean CP and one that doesnt have you stacked so close together that you struggle to open the door

Lawnton showgrounds is huge, with a mile of room if you want to be distant from others. Only $25/night unpowered and $30 powered. Pub across road does good meals, and Worx Lunch shop in Paisley Drive does huge brekkies at good price. Good Auto Electrician (Sam) next to lunch shop. Showgrounds phone number is  07)32052597 or maybe Jan on 0459 023346. Cheers

Aspley Gardens (Acres?) used to be the absolute pits. In recent years, new people have taken it over and cleaned out the rubbish. They are putting more cabins into the place, but the last time we were there (about 2 years ago), it was clean, well managed and no thugs or hooligans.

Bells caravan park, clontarf. Stayed many times and is clean with good managers. Walk to fish n chipshop, beach across road and can fish n not far from shops. Bus at door. Great place to stay if grandies visit. Covered Bbq area.
