Hi folks

Annie and I are in the middle stages of our coaster bus conversion. We decided to use the CMS electrical system and as such have got the 15Amp inlet with RCD. 

when it comes to cutting the hole in the bus to fit this unit the shape is complex and I cant think of an easy way to make a hole template for it. My mate Google has let me down too. 

does anyone out there have a hole template for it?

How about:

Photograph it

Import the photo into Photoshop (or similar)

Manipulate it to 1:1 scale 

Use the drawing tools to draw an outline 

Print it 

Test on a piece of cardboard first

Cut a hole a bit larger in a sheet of paper. Patch up hole to match perimeter of object with sticky tape, with or without patches of paper. If you end up with layers of paper, cardboard & tape it doesn't matter. Doesn't need to look pretty. It will actually make it more solid.

 I just got the picture from CMS web pages, it appears it is supplied with an adheasive foam gasket, which would be easy to trace and make a template.
