I don't know what is wrong with people that don't want a clean planet, these same people probably don't eat offf a clean plate. What's wrong with having a clean planet?, instead of air pollution so bad, like most of China's cities that you have to wear masks, or heaven forbid, an oxygen tank, and never seeing wildlife ever again. Why would you people want that?
Bicycle camper, 100%. People whinge about greenies all the time but I always say that everyone is a true greenie at heart. I've never heard anyone say that pouring billions of tonnes of chemicals into water/air is a good thing.
Scientists don't say whatever those paying them want to say. They are bound by ethics
I recall a soft drink manufacture in the funded a university sceince department, to research on the effect of sugar in drinks.
A the end of this scientific study a report was produced and signed off, a massive volume of information was in this large report, burried in the middle of the study was a statement "there are no harmful effects of sugar in drinks".
The company released only that statement, saying the Science Department of the University of XYZ has found there are no harmful effects in sugar, and then the full report and associated notes were destroyed.
The moral of the story is a scientist can produce a volume of evidence about the subject, but will ensure the group or company paying for the research will have what thet want within the final report.

Buzz, what you and your cohorts are threatening people with, is cycles of the weather that has gone up and down in temperature, floods droughts and wind for thousands of years.
The sickening part about the false predictions from these Pseudo Scientists is that they are being paid to present incorrect information to us all and then we are being asked, No I should say now being forced, to pay to fix a situation which does not exist.
From this false information there are now unscrupulous organisations that are trading on this scaremongering to line their pockets with not a thought for future generations.
I know this is of no concern to you because you have stated that you don't have grandchildren but these kids of the future will not afford to live if something is not done NOW.
