Depends on the wind, .......Westerlies or SW Ardrossan, Easterlies or SE, Moonta.

But with a caravan (Solar/Toilet/Heater) would prefer the Yorke Peninsular's $10 a night camp sites, in about 30 locations(was $50 a week or $100 a month)

Clifford,

Pt Vincent Foreshore Park is nice. Walk along the front is good, nice cafe just outside gate, shops nearby and takeaway close.

Short drives to Minlaton, Stansbury and Edithburgh for something to do as well.

Weve been there a couple of times.

Seriously any of those towns on YP are all worth a night or three, maybe pick one that is central, that way you can base yourself there and do day trips. If thats what your looking for!!
Pt Vincent and Stansbury(close together) both very good with, jetties, coffee shops, pub, and a few other shops etc etc

The van park on the foreshore in Stansbury is usually very busy when we have visited the area in February and March. There is another park in Stansbury though not right on the water, but still close to it. We often stay in Edithburgh, but that is a little further down.

Gee, my feet are starting to itchbiggrin

Port Vincent Caravan Park & Seaside Cabin. On the way into Port Vincent. An option instead of the Foreshore Caravan Park. We stayed there for about a week.

I think most CP's Power Boards are 15 amp, so I suggest a converter to a 10 amp plug/socket as below, then you can run a Fan/Light/12v converter to run a small frig etc.

just use a 10 amp lead, you don't need  a 15amp lead or an ampfibian , you will be protected by the
caravan park supply at the post , they all have RCD protection by law
10 amp plug top will go into a 15 amp legally and the breaker is the same for a 10amp as it is for 15amp
