Extra Tiny Oz! (a lot of photos)

Maybe not Oz, but definitely Europe!

I believe most of the Tiny Oz models are about 1:12 scale. I have been building 1:220 scale models where I couldn't buy them. Completely scratch built mostly from 0.75mm flat styrene sheet.

The Unimog is 23mm bumper to bumper. The street cleaner is 5.9mm wide. I make all the parts separately & paint with Holts auto 150mm touch up spray cans.

Windows are 0.5mm polycarbonate sheet. The ski lift has a spring to keep tension on the cable, polyester thread. Putting the tread on the Unimog tyres was pretty tedious.

The stainless steel on the Pistenbully snow groomer is some repurposed stainless steel etching.

Model trains, at 1:220 not a lot is available so I just have to make it, like the glass lifts & stairwells. Also did the platforms & awnings myself as the bought ones are rubbish.

Brilliant.

Makes my 'hobby' of reading seem so pedestrian.   Perhaps I should post a pic of my book cases of 'must hang on to' books. LOL

I am about to down size my collection of Australian wrote books, lawson, Paterson, Indres and lots more, most will be donated to the op shop near Sandgate in the coming weeks.

Just having a down size.

Thank you for the comments. It really is no different than building a fuel tank holder or fridge bracket for the car. Just plan the process out carefully. I always find it better to get completely off any project & solutions appear.
