Newbies from Sydney - Robo and Pat

Thank you for providing this wonderful forum and allowing us to join.

We are very new to the whole scene.

Our first and only taste, was recently hiring a Fiat Ducato 2 berth campervan for 10 days.

Having never tried it before, we weren't sure if we would love it or hate it!

But I have to say we loved the experience.

The freedom of the open road, being totally self contained etc etc.  Which of course all of you already appreciate!

We are now on the lookout for our own Campervan.

Bad timing of course, about 2 years too late.

I might take the liberty of adding a post for advice on buying a van.

I've read a lot of the older posts on the topic and they were really useful.

Very Grey, but novice Nomads.

Welcome to the gang Rob and Pat, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I have a aluminium tent so feel I'm not really qualified to answer your question sorry. That said though, If I were you and you were both happy with what you tried (and liked) then I would seriously look further into the same thing. Why risk something you may not like and enjoy as much?

Keep Safe on the roads and out there.

A warm welcome from me also, Rob & Pat

All I can say is, enjoy looking, as there are plenty of different inside set ups, within the same model/brand of Caravan/RV's

Many second hand ones, have been altered by previous owners, to suit their own lifestyle
