clearview compact towing mirrors

How do Grey Nomads find their Clearview compact towing mirrors with the mirror being convex only?

Had a look at them but didn't like the idea , opted for the next gen they are awesome and unlike the elephant ears they only increase the width about 50mm when pushed in .

Mmmm, I had never heard of them so asked my good mate Mr Google. Personally, I wouldn't bother. I have the original Clearviews and love them. Best thing ever. In fact, I would never leave home without them.

Clear view mirrors could possibly be a contributing factor to caravaning accidents.
Too many drivers enjoying a wonderful view of where they've been & not looking where they're actually going. wink

Can not see the value in Clearview mirrors, and I think they look big and bulky. At, what, close to a $1000, I will stick to my Brunnsgaard, they are so good and at a quarter the price Ian

I'm with the Chief on this one. Had them fitted about 5yrs ago and would not be without them, a great aid to safety on the road.

Take a look at MSA mirrors also, I changed to them as they are reasonably compact and fold in to very close to original width when not in use
