I don't think the problem is the dog Wanda, I think the issue is with the irresponsible owner. In my travels I have come across heaps of people who are travelling with their little mate and they have been great. On several occasions I have looked after little Fido whilst the owner went somewhere where dogs weren't allowed and it was great fun. The only time I saw any issue with a dog was when the idiot of an owner went out and left the poor dog locked in the caravan. The dog became very agitated but fortunately the door was not locked and he was released by the park manager who looked after him until the idiot owner returned.
I have found that when camped, especially in more remote areas, dogs seem to not only keep an eye on their owners' van and belongings but also an eye on the property of others who may have befriended it.
Dogs who have a close relationship with their owners can become very distressed if placed in accommodation away from their owners and usual routine.
Yes Oscar loves camping. Sad that so many camp sites won't allow dogs. Ie national parks.
Not sad at all, I wish there were more. A dogs place is at home.
Had 5 dogs over the years, NONE went on holidays with us, they had their own holiday in the doggy motel!

My thoughts, I love my dog but I do not expect everyone to appreciate my child.
Just today we are in showground situation and we were out walking and a little dog come out to greet us, a whole 10 metres it ran, then the owner comes over and the second dog arrives jumping at my wife who is at present using a crutch to get about, personally I wanted to kick it but I gave the owner a chance, really I should of kick it, lucky she picked it up.

Yes 100% correct DMaxer, but for that reason I believe a dog has no place in a National Park, and other places they now appear to be allowed to attend, Bunnings, Woolies etc etc.
The need, for some, to take their dogs everywhere they go/travel is so so over the top. In my opinion
When I am camped out in the bush enjoying the peace, and other campers company in some cases, I don't need to be dealing with their pets
And I love dogs

Our oven is a built in model and came with the caravan, something we were not lňoking when we were shopping for our next caravan but now hardly a week goes past where we have not given it a workout. Cakes, reheating meals, frozen fish or pies, roast veg etc.
In fact, tonight we are having pork scotch fillet and roast vegetables including a nice white wine.

fitted up a grey water tank (90L) and a second Li Battery. I may have put the grey tank arse about to most but I wanted to have the shower and sink drain as close as possible to the tank inlet.
Glad I got the tank kit and battery from caravanland, if I'd tried to source an aftermarket set up I'd still be groveling under the van sorting it out.
Happy with the service at Jayco Caravan Land, makes life easy when everything just fits, plug the tank level switch in and bam on the display tank level.
Also fitted RVlifters for the pop top, there was a few issues with some of the parts but Aaron at RVlfiters is a legend for sorting everything quickly without any drama.
one last job before we head off for an 8 week trip to NT is hook up an anderson plug for extra solar panels.
