I'm looking at getting either a gypsy trailer or an A frame for towing behind my Fiat Ducato but before I do like to hear the pro's and con's of both before making a choice.
I'm hoping that there are some of you guys out there have either one or the other that are willing to share your thoughts about.
TIA
Mike.

I have a Jayco Conquest Fiat Ducato and I flat tow a Suzuki Jimny 2008 (auto with a dog clutch).
The pro's with the A-frame is that you only add about 15kg to your overall weight and you don't need any extra space for the Gypsy when you park up at a Caravan Park.
My allowed towing weight is 1280kg and the Jimny is only 1180 kg (Weighbridge wt) with half a tank of fuel.
There is plenty of information on the internet and YouTube, you will also need to have the set up, Motorhome with Tow Vehicle attached, certified/approved by either the company that is fitting the 'a-frame and car combination' or by an independent engineer, if you do it yourself, as I did.
You need to do a lot of homework on the gypsy setup. I "believe" they are illegal in some states and speed limited to 80k in some states. I flat tow. Contact a company Northcoach for advise
