Can 4 Season Vents be put onto Caravan PopTop roof?

Were considering putting a 4 season vent onto our Paramount Poptop van, has anyone done this? Is the roof solid enough to cut into and fit the 4 season vent, or is it likely to dip which would I turn cause water leaks?

be kind, were Newbys and first time posting

cheers

 Hi Mikris.

Back in 2015 we had a beaut 4 season hatch fitted to our Supreme pop top, to that caravan best ever move.

Giving us better air flow.

Leaving the front vent open on rain vent stage gave us air flow into the caravan while travelling helping to keep the dust out on unsealed road.

My caravan now has the other European type of roof vent but I don't think ant where as good.

Thanks Guru,

Was that an after market 4 season vent in the supreme or factory fitted?
Was there any sagging in the poptop roof or leaking.
Did the roof require extra support beams?

 A four season vent system.

never any leakage or sagging.

The caravan repairer did make a frame around inside the roof where fitted the 4 season, I must add it was marginally to one side as it replaced a hail damaged plastic vent.

this is just before we had the vent replaced, so the vent would of been a towards the centre.

The end result was very pleasing for the summer months.
