Hi all 

We are on the road full time and 100k service on the Landcruiser is coming up. Going to try and get it done in Mt Isa QLD. Anyone have any recommendations of a good place to get it done. Like to use local business if possible. If not will just have to play it safe and get Toyota Dealership to do it.

Cannot help you with any option other than www.bellandmoirtoyota.com.au/

We love Mt Isa - The Library is a great place to wait for car to be serviced; Have the dealer drive you there when dropping off vehicle.
The Mount Isa City Library provides members and visitors with Internet. Access is free of charge, however printing and photocopying charges do apply.
Twenty-one terminals are available for booking, and computers may be booked for a maximum of two hours at a time. You may pre-book by phoning 4747 3350 after 9:30am.
Alternatively, bring in your own laptop or portable device and connect to our free Wi-Fi.
USBs, cameras and other storage media from outside the Library can be used in the Library computers.

3 month wait in the Isa toyota dealer. Openly told me they prefer locals to tourists. Head on to Katherine. Much better attitude and better pricing too.

I didn't have that problem at the Ford Dealership in Isa. But had to pay for the hose before they ordered it in. Then had to wait about a week for it to arrive.

BTW Alice Springs, Katherine and Darwin just said no they didn't have a hose and there was no offer from any of them to get one.

A bottom radiator hose for goodness sake, in Australia? Good reason to carry some common spares with you.

I used isa4wd.com.au in Ryan St last year as we passed through as i had a problem with my 200 series and toyota could not fit us in. These guys were great - really knew their stuff and sorted out my problem. They really knew Toyota 4WDs well.
