USB are rated at 5V and 0.5A. Unless it was charging a device, I doubt that there would be much power in it.

USB 2.0 has a current limit of 500mA. USB 3.0 is limited to 900mA.

i think the usb is used to charge a battery which then drives a motor of about 150w . small 350ml mixing bowl

Mouli Food Mill. If it is not enough first time put it through again. Just need a bit of elbow grease which will help towards keeping one fit.

While on the subject of proper tangible non landfill hardware. We use a hand grinder for coffee beans.

i use an 800w hand held stick blender that has 2 speeds. I run it from a 600w inverter and it works very well.
im sure that you could even get a smaller one that uses less energy

I use a Kenwood Triblade Hand BlenderMasherPro + Soup XL, $99 ebay
and use a small 600 watt inverter to run it

bought 3 different units

1 usb blender works well but purees the food

1usb chopper works well to mince food

1 pull chopper works by pulling a cord to mince the food I think it is best of all 3.

all bought on line through Amazon, excellent service, 1 faulty unit returned and money refunded.

2 of the unit were ordered 1 day and delivered the next day cant ask better than that.
