2010 Newlands - Limited Edition 18’ 6”

I am considering buying one of the van. Does anyone here have or had one of these that can review or give me some feedback on them. Thank you.

Hi shakey55.

We have a 2012 Concept Vision 19.6 mid door model.. Newlands, Viscount are built at Concept factory in Melbourne.

The secondhand Vision has been with us now since September 2016, we have travelled approximately 70000 kilometres, apart from a odd screw loose here and there the Concept has been a real pleasure to own.

I must add the Vision was built as a  sales floor caravan and has lots of little at times unpractical do dads eg 18 x 240 volt power points, 2 TV brackets. Not normal made length bed, a bit short so as to make the caravan look bigger, I can only guess but all good we have learnt to live with that and we needed a short caravan to store at home and it's length fits the bill.

Remember when you buy second hand it is a compromise with what you get in the design, in general we are extremely happy.

The general contruction quality has been very good, like most brands some accessories have given owners some grief eg water heaters failure, the odd AC or refrigerator not doing the right thing.

I do follower the  2 Concept Caravan pages on facebook which has been good, lots and lots of positive experiences, over the 3 years I have been following the page there has been the odd nasty one eg the sealant around the AC was very poorly applied, I do believe there was a very good out come with Concept stepping up to the mark.

Be Careful of the vin plate weights,  when new the tare weights are very close to the mark, they allow 400kg of loading, I found with ours we needed an extra 100kg as we run with full tanks of water and gas plus I added solar panels and a mounted winter heater. I applied to Concept for additional 100kg and recieved a new vin plate which was real good of Concept considering I was the second owner 4 years on after the caravan was built, tares in at 2250 with gross of 2750kgs, normal running around 2700kgs with 270 kgs on the ball.

Would we buy another Concept product, yes we would.

A bit long winded but you did ask.
