anybody using the lock with their Trail-a-Mate (as a jockey wheel) and find it difficult to screw out the bolt from the JC bracket when removing the JC? The bolt screws in easy enough when attaching the JC but man it is so hard to screw out using a spanner. Crazily if I dont use the locking bolt and just use the standard 90° JC bracket handle I have no problems. Yes, there are times and locations I prefer to use the lock.

Yes I have this lock and when the jack is inserted I do the screw up to firm with fingers then use a spanner to tighten, not super tight and when taking the jockey wheel of loosten it with a spanner then all is easily unscrewed with finger .
So maybe the thread in the jockey wheel holder has been stretched a little as can happen when they are overly tightened .
