Gib river road

Hi all we are planning a trip next year in the dry season  through Hells gate via Katherine and lake argyle where we had to turn back to bitter springs two years ago and since then the virus has put a hold on our travel plans so now its time to stop whinging and get back to finish unfinished business

We want to do the gib river road with our van which is full off road and it and the car love to get dirty and pushed to the limits.

I have purchased a kings rooftop tent for the tracks where you cant get a van into and would like some tips for good places to go and stay.

I have also promised my financial planner a trip to the horizontal falls and was wondering the pros and cons of flying in and staying a couple of nights or doing the cruise which is up to ten nights any feedback would be much appreciated.

Also any other places to go as we have no time limit and prefer not to be in caravan parks and would rather free camp as much as possible

cheers to all and stay safe

Probably best to move this to one of the other forums, rather than the For Sale forum.

It might get seen better.
