If you're a budget traveller, who is struggling to find room for a porta potty, but don't want to dig a hole. Here is an alternative for those times you find yourself camping where there is no loo (or the long drop is disgusting). Try the 'ezygonow' poo powder system. I have a pop up toilet tent, a fold flat loo seat, the pee wee, poo powder and bags; all which pack in the flat toilet tent. Obviously I use public loo when I can, because this system uses plastic bags, but when I can't I have a no smell alternative. I would ad a link if I knew how too, but you can just google ezygonow.
In fact very few will want to tip the contents out of the glad bag. If they do then does the glad bag just go into a waste bin.
I would imagine that the first toilet they came across would cop the lot.
I still like the hole that Peter is digging, I could see if another camper wanting to set up a camp close to him would have second thoughts when he saw him digging a grave.
No they specifically say don't put it in the loo, put it in the bin in its sealed bag. Actually the poo powder encapsulates (petrified I think they call it). the poo and drys up the pee and it's sealed in a plastic bag that can go into the general rubbish. It's not a perfect solution but what ends up in the bin is 10times better than a disposable nappy, in fact there is vertually no smell. Plus I personally only use it as a back up plan for if there is no loo or the public loo is disgraceful.
As the army use this system when out in remote areas and I would be interested to know what they do with it.
