Hi, im about to purchase an ENGEL 60ltr fridge and was hoping if any one has placed one in the rear passenger ( with seat removed ), i currently have a waeco 50ltr which is a tight fit to get in the through the door opening. It will have a cover on it. i have a BT50 2018. THANKS in advance.Peter.
Just as a wild guess, I"ll take a punt and reckon he might have a 2018 BT50. And seeing as he wants to put the fridge where the rear passenger seat normally resides, I'll go further and guess that he may just have a Dual Cab.

Simply measure the fridge and make a cardboard template of the end.Whilst not 100% accurate,it'll give you a pretty good idea! Dimensions are 490x441x790 long,plus handles,but that won't affect getting it through the door! Cheers

It may go through the front passenger door too......one seat forward and one back, or even remove the passenger front seat , if you don't need to take it in and out very often
Another suggestion is take the door off, fit the fridge and refit the door.
If the 50 litre is a tight fit then a good guess would ge that the 60 litre will be a real challenge. Maybe a tape measure will give you a good idea of if it will fit or not.
I can't speak about your fridge & car, but for my Freelander after narrowing it down, a 28L fridge would fit. I made cardboard templates. I also can't open the fridge door fully as it hits the D column but I couldn't position the fridge any further forward, even had to take the rear handle off so the boot would close.
Also had to design a custom mounting bracket as the bought bracket was too high to close the boot cover, bought it anyway for ideas. Managed to get my bracket down to 6mm thick.
Also ventilation for the condenser was another issue as the fridge was close to the wheel arch, so I put a better fan in the fridge, which is actually more efficient.
Make up a cardboard replica if necessary.
